  8. have a good-looking face, but don't worry about the voice: no
  9. singing is required. That's the word from Milli Vanilli, the
  10. wildly popular Franco-German duo whose first album sold 10
  11. million copies worldwide and won them the Best New Artist
  12. Grammy Award for 1989. Last week their producer, Frank Farian,
  13. revealed that Rob Pilatus and Fab Morvan never sang a note on
  14. their hit 1989 album Girl You Know It's True. The pretty-boy
  15. lip syncers may lose their Grammy but not necessarily their
  16. careers. In today's record business, looks still count more
  17. than sound.
